Commercial Wall, Ceiling, and Stairs 

Detail drawings completed define and communicate the information for the assembly of structural components for designated commercial spaces. Including the drawings of  a set of commercial stairs, various wall types, and various ceiling types. The details for designing and communicating the information for a commercial staircase involved designing a commercial grade staircase including developing a plan, section and detail drawings. Along with providing all the material and construction, specifications required for a commercial staircase. Detail drawings include a stair and handrail detail, as well as the landing area. The goals for this project was to gain a proper understanding of what is needed for commercial performance and safety standards.

Additionally, details of several wall and ceiling types are intended to communicate all the components that make each assembly. This project entailed utilizing the office design of Momentum Advertising Agency, indicating the various walls and ceiling types being used within the space. Walls including fire-rated and moisture resistant walls have been drawn for the purpose of the project. Furthermore, the ceiling application of cove lighting, pocket lighting, and bulkhead ceiling assemblies were completed.
