THESIS

Well-centric Women's Cardiac Wellness Centre

Well-centric Women’s Cardiac Wellness Centre will aid women with cardiac risk factors though preventive programming. Facility offerings will contribute to the mission of achieving wellness through programs that encourage physical engagement and cultivate social engagement within the community.

To achieve an optimal interior environment, the facility design will follow a dynamic design consisting of soft and strong elements. Moreover, the space will be designed to stimulate a sense of wellbeing and cultivate a motivated mindset among users. Interconnected spaces will follow a dynamic design approach, in the juxtaposition between angular forms that will provoke motivation, coupled with radiant biophilic spaces that will inspire wellness. The soft natural materials and strong angular shapes will create a harmonious environment that inspires the positive progression of health, wellbeing, and community.

Aura Health Center of Excellence: Radiology Unit

The Aura Health Center of Excellence focuses on enriching the acute care environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Doing so by providing views and human-centered design towards care environments to provide a facility that evokes a sense of wellbeing in a aura of the built environment.

LES SIX: Upscale Parisian Restaurant

LES SIX revolves around a contemporary Persian garden theme with the use of enchanting plants and elegant arches that embody the design. Our design creates an experience through custom design elements by incorporating textures and features that are both dramatic and dynamic. The concept was also drawn from art deco influence to further portray the dramatic concept to overall capture an moody and inspiring atmosphere that provides an upscale experiences for customers.

Momentum Advertising Agency

Momentum Advertising Agency focuses on providing modern and innovative ideas and solutions in advertising. Clients are specifically any company that endorses or embodies movement. The office design promotes creativity and collaboration for users to increase motivation and enhance the productivity of the employees through design strategies.

Bvgari Retail Store

This project entailed designing a new retail space for a high-end client. The project involved completing drawings such as a floor plan, rendered floor plan, RCP plan, 3D renderings, rendered and non-rendered elevations. The goal of the project created a space that fit into the clients brand, yet still felt fresh. Bvgari is a high-end jewelry store, inspired by classical roman architecture and vibrant rich colours. The new location's design of the new location consists of drawing from classical roman architecture, sculpture and patterns. The design utilized elegant curves and forms in mixing traditional and modern materials to elevate a classical roman inspired experience.

RETAIL

The Stowe Residence

This residence was a personal project I had completed during summer, 2020. My goal for this project was to create a modern residence designed to coincide with the existing nature surroundings. Architectural elements such as the extensive use of windows allow nature to be immersed within the space. Material elements also took a large role in the design, inspired by brutalism, with modern and raw textures used; creating a textured minimalistic house that is connected to nature.

The Community

MIXED-USE

This personal project completed over the 2021 summer was aimed to design an environment that aids to promoting community in the urban city. In light of covid-19, I was inspired to create a project that worked towards shifting the streets to be more useable and connected. While also designing a space that contributes to creating a healthier city through the application of biophilia. “The Community” is a mixed-use space designed for social interaction and connection within the urban city. Zones include areas to work, play, and connect. Designed to be a café/lounge during the day, as well as an event space for community gatherings.

FURNITURE

The PeacePod prioritizes personal restoration and encourages wellness in the workplace environment. Inspired by the overarching concept of wellness, the intent was to create a furniture piece that emphasizes well-being and promoted the concept of mindfulness as part of the workplace environment.

Detail drawings completed define and communicate the information for the assembly of structural components for designated commercial spaces. Including the drawings of a set of commercial stairs, various wall types, and various ceiling types
